The M.Zuiko Digital 17mm f/1.8 II by OM System is a Micro Four Thirds wide-angle lens with a large f/1.8 aperture providing stunning bokeh and pan-focus capabilities. It features reliable all-weather durability thanks to its IPX1-rated splash and dust-proof design, allowing the user to enjoy photographing regardless of environmental conditions. Additionally, its specialized ZERO coating reduces ghosting and flaring, ensuring crisp, clear images in challenging lighting conditions.
Compact and mighty, this lens features nine elements in six groups, including DSA (Dual Super Aspheric) and HR (High Refractive index) lens elements that contribute to a marked reduction in distortion and spherical aberrations. Additionally, a Movie & Still Compatible (MSC) autofocus system is employed to deliver quick, quiet, and precise focusing performance to suit both video and photo applications.
