  This Drop-In K-Series Neutral Density 1.5 and Circular Polarizer Filter from H&Y Filters is a filter that combines a solid neutral density effect with a circular polarizer effect. It is made specifically to fit between a separately available H&Y Filters 100mm K-Series Filter Holder and one of the filter holder's adapter rings. When in use, the filter's 32x filter factor provides a 5-stop exposure reduction. Its 1.5 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily.Simultaneously, this filter can help reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface.
