The Leofoto LS-284CVL Ranger Series Carbon Fiber Tripod with Lateral Center Column Twist Lock is a carbon fiber tripod with a center column that can be extended vertically or extended laterally to position a camera off of the center axis to accommodate almost any shooting angle. The center column with its unique panning and tilting mechanisms can expand framing possibilities considerably and is useful in extending a camera over a subject for macro photography or achieving multiple perspectives. It features a ballast hook for counterbalancing the weight of a camera when extended.

The CNC milled aluminum apex platform features a 1/4"-20 threaded accessory socket on the side and the underside for mounting accessories for photo or video applications. The 10x Toray carbon fiber legs have independent leg spread so the tripod may be leveled on uneven terrain and has three angle stop leg positions for a variety of available shooting height perspectives.
