Wimberley P-35 Overview
The P-35 Quick Release Lens Plate from Wimberley is a 5" long anodized 6061 aluminum plate that has an Arca-type double-dovetail design, which allows the plate to mount into a compatible clamp or have accessories mount on the top of the plate as well. The plate attaches to a large telephoto lens that has a collar-mounted tripod foot. Therefore, it provides a quick release capability to the telephoto lens. The center slot channel on the lens allows you to position and reposition the plate on the tripod foot, and the optional safety stops prevent the plate from sliding out if a quick release is accidentally opened.
